1. What is My Account?

In "My Account" you will find all the information related to your past, current and future purchases on Arion-networks. It holds information like order history, order status, recharge transactions, wallet topups, account ledger, reviews, support tickets and shipping addresses.

2. Is it necessary to have an account on Arion E-shoppe ?

Yes! At present it is mandatory to have an account on Arion E-shoppe to purchase any product or services. You can create an account just by providing your email ID.

Your account has the following benefits:
        
        manage/edit all your personal data like address, phone numbers, email ids
        change your password,
        track the status of your orders, Mobile and DTH recharges
        view your transaction history anytime,
        download electronic receipts of all your transactions,
        add money to your  wallet, check your account ledger,
        manage your refunds and paybacks

3. How do I register on Arion-networks.com?

Registration on Arion-networks is a simple process and can be done at the final step of buying a product or services. When you click "Checkout & Pay" you are prompted to login to your account.

If you are a new user and dont have a username, just enter a valid email id, select a password of your choice (minimum 8 characters); confirm your password and you are done!

4. Whose mobile number should I enter while filling the new signing up form?

It is very important that you enter your own mobile number while signing up. For security measures, we will send a security code as an SMS to your registered mobile number, which then you would need to enter on Arion-Networks.com to complete your signup.

5. I forgot my login password. What do I do?

Go to the login page and click on "Forgot password" link. You will receive an email on your registered email id showing you your password.

6. What is Shopping Cart?

Whenever you go to a store you pick certain items, drop them in your shopping cart and proceed to the billing section to make the payment. These items remain in the shopping cart only until before the billing. Similarly on Arion-networks, you can view your items for 24 hours after adding them to the Shopping Cart.

7. How do I know that my order has been confirmed?

Once your order has been successfully generated, your order is processed internally (and immediately). We will send a confirmation mail for your order, to the email address associated with your account. In this mail you will be provided with a unique Order ID (eg. ARHP12021302) for your reference with our customer service team.

You will also receive a confirmation call for the order booked by you to verify your shipping address. You can track the confirmation status in "My Orders" section where it will also show you a listing of the item/s you have ordered, the payment mode and the shipping status.

8. Where do I find my order number?

The order number is sent to you on your registered email id and phone number once the checkout process is completed and confirmed. Alternatively, you can also find the same under "My Orders" in "My Account" section.

9. How can I track the status of my order?

You can review the status and other information of all your orders, whether pending or fulfilled, that you have placed with Arion-networks. Once the order is confirmed telephonically on Arion-networks, it is communicated to the concerned department where the order is packed and forwarded to courier delivery service. At this stage an AWB number is generated and updated along with the courier service’s name on the site under My Account > My Orders section.

At the time of handing over the order to courier company, we will send you a mail with complete details of billing and shipping address, name of courier company and the AWB number.

You can use this AWB number to check the status of delivery and current position of shipment from the concerned courier service’s website.

10. How can I get my previous Invoices on Arion-Networks.com?

This is simple. All you need to do is to view and download payment invoices by clicking on "My Invoices" under "My Account" section.

Arion-networks also send you a soft copy of invoice at the time of order dispatch. You also get a hard copy of the invoice along with your shipment.

11. I did not get a bill / invoice with the product that was delivered to me. Where can I get the same?

13. What is My Wallet?

My Wallet is a prepaid account that enables you to shop on Arion E-shoppe multiple times without going through payment procedure every time. You make a payment for a certain amount and this will be added to your account on "My Wallet". When you make an order, you can choose to use My Wallet as the mode of payment and the amount will be deducted from the balance in your account.

- Next, you need to select the payment option. Once your payment is successful, the amount will get instantly added to your account balance..

19. Why do I see multiple balances in my Wallet?

The Wallet comprise of three components:
    
1. My Cash: This component refers to the prepaid credit balance in your wallet that you have purchased using your Credit, Debit Card or Netbanking for use against future orders. The amount residing in this component is not refundable.

2. My Credits: This is the credit offered by Arion-networks.com typically in lieu of a cancelled transaction. The amount residing in this component can be completely refunded to you (if you so choose).

The Wallet balance is sum total of the two components mentioned above.

20. How do I use My Wallet to pay for my order?

If you have balance in My Wallet, just go through the usual check-out process, In the payment step of check-out, choose My Wallet as the mode of payment. This is just like any other mode you could have chosen – bank account, credit card, and so on. It is so convenient. If the value of your order is greater than your Wallet balance, you will be directed to use other means of payment. Please click on your preferred mode of payment for that particular order.

21. How does the redemption process work?

Balance available for Redemption = (My Cash + My Credit ).

Redemption works in the following way:
During redemption, the non-refundable section of the wallet gets deducted first (My Cash), followed by the refundable section(My Credits).

This method has been adopted for your benefit, so that, as much as possible, the left over amount in Your Wallet is refundable.

22. Can I transfer My Wallet balance?

No, the Wallet is associated with your Arion-networks.com account only. The Wallet balance in your account cannot be transferred to other accounts.

23. What is the Refund Policy for the Wallet?

The Wallet comprise of three components:

24. Is there any expiry date for the balance in My Wallet?

Never! There is no expiry date for My Wallet balance. You will be able to use your Wallet balance at any point of time. You could either use it in your transactions or ask for it to be transferred to your bank account (Only the refundable part). Your balance does not go anywhere without your knowledge.

25. How do I transfer balance from My Wallet to my bank account?

First of all, we suggest you use your balance for your next order at Arion-networks. However, if you still would like us to transfer this money back to your bank or credit card account, please go to "My Wallet" in "My Account". Here you will see a menu "Paybacks" which will show all your pending and successful payback requests. Once you click on "Request New" link you will see how much balance is available for transfer to your bank account. Please fill the details carefully as we will process the request depending on the details provided by you. Click on "Initiate Payback" after completing the details and the money will be transferred to your bank account.

26. How many days does it take for my bank to show balance transfer into my credit card or bank account?

We instantly initiate the request to your bank to transfer your refund as soon as you initiate the "Payback" request. The bank gives us a reference code that we share with you through email. You could quote this reference code to check the status of this request with your bank. We sends your funds immediately to the bank upon your request. The length of time that every bank takes to show in your account may differ. Some banks may take a few weeks. Once the transfer is initiated, Arion-networks has no control over how many days it takes for the money to show up in your bank or credit card account. If you have lost the reference code needed to track your transaction with your bank, we can send it to you again on request. In order to avoid all this delay and inconvenience, we always recommend you to retain your unused funds in "My Wallet" and benefit anytime on Arion-Networks.com.

27. Can I delete my Wallet?

Since a Wallet is associated with an account, it cannot be deleted. However, the usage of Wallet it totally up to your discretion. You can choose to not use your Wallet at all and this will not interfere with any of the normal flows.

28. How do I make a payment for a purchase or recharge on Arion-networks?

 Arion-networks offers multiple methods to make payments for your order: Credit Card & Debit Card (including American Express), Net Banking, Cash before Delivery and My Wallet.

All Credit/Debit card details remain confidential and private. Arion-networks and our trusted payment gateways use SSL encryption technology to protect your card information.

29. Are there any hidden charges when I make a purchase on Arion-networks?

There are absolutely no hidden charges when you make a purchase with Arion-networks. We offer free shipping mostly on all items if the order is Rs. 200 or over, otherwise you will be charged an additional Rs. 50 for delivery. The prices listed for all items are final and all-inclusive. The prices you see on our product pages are exactly what you pay for the item. Certain items which do not come under category of "free shipping" needs to be paid separately for shipping which would be reflected during checkout process.

Local octroi and other taxes etc. which may be levied by the State Goverment and Central Government shall be charged extra as applicable.

30. What is Cash before Delivery?

Cash-before-Delivery (C-b-D) is an alternate method of purchasing from us, other than Online (By Credit/Debit card and Netbanking). In the C-b-D payment terms or C-b-D service, you pay before taking the actual delivery.

31. Are there any hidden terms and conditions for a C-b-D purchase?

The maximum order value for a C-b-D payment is Rs. 10,000. It's strictly a cash-only payment method; Certain items in the store which are marked separately and Mobile / DTH recharge do not fall under this category.
Please note, we do not accept foreign currency as payment against a C-b-D order. All Payments should be made in Indian currency only before taking the delivery.

32. How do I pay using a Credit/Debit card and is it safe?

We accept all VISA, MasterCard and AmEx cards - only Indian cards are supported and not International.
Customers will need to key in their 16-digit Credit/Debit Card number and the 3 digit CVV Code (Card Verification Value - found on the back of the card) and complete the payment flow.

In fact, shopping online with a credit card at Arion-networks.com is even safer than using a credit card at a restaurant because we do not retain your credit card information.

You can be assured that Arion-networks.com offers you the highest standards of security currently available on the Net so as to ensure that your shopping experience is private, safe and secure. You need not worry about your credit card information because your bank will authorize the credit card transaction directly without any information passing through us. In approximately 25-30 seconds (depending on your internet connection) your bank will issue an authorization number and the electronic receipt would be generated.

34. Placing a Cash-before-Delivery (C-b-D) Order?

All items that have the "Cash-before-Delivery Available" Icon are valid for order by Cash-before-Delivery. Add the item(s) to your cart and proceed to checkout.
When prompted to choose a Payment Option, select "Pay By Cash-before-Delivery".

You will be required to make a only Cash payment in Indian Currency to our Courier Partner, before taking the delivery of your order.

If one or more item in your cart does not come under Cash-before-Delivery category, you cannot choose this method of payment for that particular order.

35. How does Arion-networks protect my privacy?

We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users. Arion-networks will not give out your telephone number or e-mail address, except where needed to deliver a product or service your order. We will not give out your credit card number or any account information unless you authorize it, e.g., processing a credit card payment. In other words, we will not rent or sell your name, address, email address, credit card information or personal Detail to any third party without your permission. This information is collected primarily to ensure that we are able to fulfil your requirements and to deliver you a truly personalized shopping experience. However, we must cooperate fully, should a situation arise, where we are required by law or statutory obligation or legal process to provide information about a customer. If you have purchased from our store or subscribed to one of our newsletters, we may occasionally update you via e-mail of special new product arrivals, features or schemes on our site.

36. How does refund work on Arion E-Shoppe?

Your money gets refunded as "Credits" or directly in your credit card account.

"Credits" is basically your money available in your account for your next order. When any of your Mobile/DTH recharges have been unsuccessful (and we have tried repeatedly for up to two hours), we refund your money in form of  "Credits". This is a better method because every other method of refunding your money, whether to your bank account or credit card account takes time. As soon as we refund your money as Credits, it is available for your use to buy products or recharge on Arion-Networks the next time. However if you are still keen to transfer this refund to your bank or credit card account, all you need to do is go to your account and initiate a "Payback".

In case a product order is cancelled due to unavaidable circumstances even before getting approved by our sales team, your credit/debit card payment shall be returned directly from the payment gateway. It may take 2-5 working days before this amount reflects in your credit / debit card account.

37. One of the orders, for which payment was made via internet banking, has been cancelled. How and when should I expect the refund?

In case you want to get your Credits transferred to your bank account or Credit card, all you need to do is send us a "Payback" request. After receiving your request, we process it almost immediately and the money gets transferred to your account as per the applicable schedule.

Refund process varies with the mode of payment used while placing the order. For e.g. if the order was placed via internet banking, then the amount would be refunded to your bank account directly.

As for the duration, refunds for payment made through CoD / DD / cheques take 15-20 working days.

For credit card / debit card payments, refund processing time is 6-8 working days.

38. I purchased a product from Arion-networks and the product is not working as expected after one month. What should I do?

Most of the products sold on Arion-networks come with the manufacturer’s warranty. If your product is still within the warranty period, you can contact the product’s service centre for any repair. Please keep the original invoice safely.

39. How do I get the refund of the money I paid to recharge mobile?

If after our retrying to process your order for up to two hours, you do not get your recharge, we will automatically see the failed transaction in My Account> Wallet> Request refund menu. Select the transaction for which you want the refund into your Wallet account as "Credits" for your later use. Your refund is made in an order as your requests were generated. You cannot initiate refund for all the transactions in one go.

Please be assured that your money is kept safe in your Wallet. In a rare scenario, if your money still does not appear in your Wallet after two hours, please immediately write an email to recharge@arion-networks.com with your order number. However, this is a very rare situation and your money will get be available for refund in Wallet after two hours, should the recharge fail.

40. How much are the delivery charges?

Arion-networks provides free delivery mostly on all items if your total order amount is Rs. 200/- or more. Otherwise Rs. 50/- is charged as delivery charges.

41. What is the estimated delivery time?

The estimated time of delivery is mentioned on every page. It may differ from one item to another.

For in-stock products, the shipping duration may vary from 24 hours to 5 days depending upon the accessibility of the delivery location and whether or not they fall within the delivery areas of our courier services. If the delivery destination falls outside the serviceable areas of logistics partners, then the product is dispatched via government’s registered post or speed post. Duration for such deliveries may vary from 24 hours to 3 weeks

42. What do I do if the delivery boy asks for extra money over the invoice amount?

Please accept your delivery and do not pay any amount over the invoice. The delivery boy may only ask for extra payment in case there is any octroi charge levied upon the shipment. For this also you will get a receipt clearly mentioning the tax type. Please do not pay the octroi charges without the actual receipt.

43. How can I track the delivery of my order?

All Arion-networks items are delivered through reputed courier partners, we will provide you with a Docket number for your order by which you can track your delivery on the respective websites of our courier partners.

44. Is it possible to request for a change of delivery address at any point of time after the order has been placed?

For security purposes, we are unable to redirect a shipped package to a secondary shipping address. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause, and we hope that in the majority of cases our security policies work to your advantage. If our shipper is unable to deliver the package to the address that you provided, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse and processed as a return.
